With his unique soulful vocals and distinct playing style, Elliot Roth’s musical repertoire consists of jazz standards with a twist, R&B soul classics, re-workings of art-pop compositions along with original material fusing folk, jazz and neo-soul.
Elliot has entertained audiences at Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera’s late night Cabaret, Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center, The International Jazz Festival in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria and other notable venues near the East Coast. During his four year residence in Pittsburgh he became one of the most sought after up and coming musicians due to his versatility and ability to conquer the standards while still retaining a fresh and cutting edge sound that appealed to all audiences.
He has explored and been a part of nearly every vein of performance art including a two year accompanying stint with the internationally reknowned modern dance company “Attack Theater” a brief contract as a model under Smilen Savov Modeling Agency, and composer for Point Park University's Dance Conservatory. Elliot is also a widely respected music instructor holding a music education degree with an emphasis on jazz piano and vocal performance. His teaching techniques in both piano and voice utilize standard technique to approach proper singing and playing in every genre; from rock and R&B to classical and sacred music.
